Happy World Book Day
Pupils and staff have been transformed today into villains from popular books in celebation of World Book Day. Our focus book of Firebird has been well received with a theatre production on Monday and the firebird itself landing in various places around the school, currently it is in the junior library.
The book fair is opening after school today in the junior hall and will continue on Friday and Monday. Why not have a browse at the selection offered? Don't forget to bring your book voucher with you, in case you want to buy a book, as this will give you a £1 discount.
If you would like to enter the design a bookmark competition the closing date is tomorrow (Friday) lunchtime. Hand in completed entries to either myself or your teacher. Ensure that your name and class is written on the reverse of the bookmark. Winners will be announced on Monday.
Good luck and happy reading.
